The Academia Sinica has announced the Academician Candidate for 2010, and NTUT President Prof. Dr. Tsu-Tian Lee has been nominated in the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences. The nomination process is comprised of an evaluation of candidates' performance in the academics and examination hosted by the Academia Sinica. The list of the recent Academician candidates was anounced on April 17, 2010.

President Lee, National Endowed Chair for Life, is the authority on Intelligent System and Robot Control. Last October, President had become the first Asian awarded the Norbert Wiener Award in IEEE annual meeting for the outstanding contribution to Intelligent System's Analysis and Control.
